There is a guy in my town with a viper that doesn't even deserve to drive it. What is really sad is that my car, with the mods below, would beat him in an 1/8 mile because he can't drive that damn car. I know you all are thinking its not possible, but believe me, this guy really can't drive that car. He has problems even attempting to cruise in it, much less give it hell. My car would cross the finish line before he even stopped spinning tires back at the starting line. It is really funny hearing him talk **** about slower cars when his car is slower because of him. I wish he would race me,bue he only races for 500 bucks plus he's afraid that people would see him lose in his daddy's car. I don't see why it matters, everybody already hates him.

Just add a few more bolt on's and some nitrous. A guy around here has a 91 GT with head work, cams, exhaust, and a 75 shot of nitrous and he raced the guy here with a red and white Ford GT and only losed by about a car.

 

There was a GT at my local track this past Tuesday, they were letting people run before the Pinks taping. He ran 11.0 @ 130 babying it out of the hole.[:-]

BTW, as a die-hard GM guy I will admit that the GT is faster than the much cheaper Z06. But not by much.

 

In a straight line....a bone stock C6 ZO6 has went 11.2x on stock rubber. What is the quickest a GT has gone? I honestly don't know.

 

2.5 even is the current GT 1/4 mile time!!![8D]

I just saw my first one today, I don't know if it was dealership or what, it was red with 2 white stripes setting on the side of the road, all i could get out of my mouth was "holy ****...holy ****"
