I am making 415 with boltons/blower/cams. And they are N/A cams at that..
I would not have any fear of racing a C6 from a roll or a stop. Considering that both him and me are putting down more to the wheels than the vette does at the flywheel....
BTW, if he ran a 12.60 with 40x WHP he needs to work on launch etc. 400+ WHP with a 1.8~ 60' is good for a 12.00/11.9x in the 1/4 with a 99-04 (with a stick anyway, auto should not be that much slower if its setup right)

mmmm, lets see you have an '03 auto and you beat a C6 from a roll of 50mph and you have 3.73's with 406rwhp? How fast were you going when you shut down. I have to admit I've never seen a bolt on 99-04 having 406rwhp , but I guess there is a first for everything. How much psi are you running to get 406rwhp?

With a stock block, 416 RWHP without a power adder would, as far as I know, be impossible. I get basically that (420) to the rear wheels, which at 15% loss through the drivetrain is 483 at the crank (I round to 475 just for the sake of nice round numbers.) My engine is new, with Manley rods and pistons and a Cobra crank and a healthy dose of boost. However, the guy who wrote the story said he had an s-trim, so he isnt naturally aspirated.
On an aside, I had a fun little back-and-forth on the highway with a beautiful red C6 today... a much older gent, white hair and glasses, and his much older wife, and all three of us were giggling like schoolkids
I almost enjoy mutual car moments more than a mean spirited race

Yeah, and especially with his 3.73's . Thats why I was a little baffled on his ET. By the way you mentioned you have a blower, so is it possible for a full bolt on 99-04 to get 416rwhp without forced induction?

Maybe they will get there if anyone gets off their *** and builds a true aftermarket set of heads.
But his sig says he has a S trim, so he is blown.
Mine, C6? Mine was originally a 2000 GT. Added the 99 hood scoop, the 03 Mach 1 chin spoiler, gas cap, and the stripes... wish I had a classic, so tried to get it as classic looking as I could...

What did you run? I would be surprised to see you run a 12.6 with about the same hp as my car. Auto's usually run faster with the same whp.
Completely impossible for a 2v 4.6 to make that kinda power with any configuration N/A, at least any street legal configuration. This includes a full motor build.

"Doubt that i can't make a 2V N/A 4.6 motor make over 420rwhp? If so, please forward your requests to my PM box, and i'll gladly make all of you look like fools...."

I beg to differ, well atleast i believe he's street legal... lol, go look at that profile.

lol yes im aware... but he says he can make any 2v put that type of stuff out.... We asked him what he had done to do that... gave us a lil information, but i guess he says that some of the info is pro secrets, or something - and that there is only 1 other person out there that has made a faster n/a 2v then him... i dunno... I guess if hes true to his sig, he'll explain it to anyone that wants to ask.. but i know the guy knows his ****... anyone thats worked for Roush Racing, i'll listen to... lol (which he did, then quit from)
