Without the charger the stang wouldn't have even been in sight....but the maro does look like **** and seems ragged out

run an 04 svt cobra and watch wat happens to that ls1

 

cobra has 4 valve heads and built for boost bro....big difference. Half a car doesn't matter when you pull bus lengths...but who knows, maybe the stang needs a driver mod

And for the vid I posted both only have light mods....it says that in the vid.

 

something else to think of. for how ugly and how much it looked like he didnt take care of the car, i bet it had a bit of weight reduction too.

for the record i have ran 2 02 GT's with blowers on them. 1 at the track and 1 on the street. at the track i was a tenth faster and 1 mph faster. on the street it was a even race with him puliing at over 90.
i see no reason that a modded LS car couldnt do the same or more

 

from what ive seen, both on here and at the track, the result of a mildly modded LS1 against the cobram woudl be the same...

 

I almost gotta call bs there. I know I am making a ton more power now, but even before the blower I was running with stock LS1s. 350 whp, while pretty said for a car with a blower and the mods he has, should still outrun a LS1 with a lid/partial exhaust.

I wonder what the "weight reduction" was.

All I do know for sure is I put busslenghts on my buddies LS1, its not anything like a close race like this.

Nope. Hopefully this summer I will get up there. There was no chance with my old job and constant manditory overtime.

This is the race I am referencing. Obviously, 415~ WHP > 350 whp, but still...
