So im sure everyone has seen the bone stock civic EX or DX model hatchbacks with just a fatrcan muffler wanting to race with thier 100hp right...Well yesterd day I say a 90something bonestock appearing one(cept for a massive muffler) on the freeway...Well anyway He does some ricer moves and gets in front of me revving, anyway we cruise along due to traffic then an oppening He nailed it as did I...but I wasnt reeling him in, then all of a sudden He took off like I was in reverse...Well I caught up to traffic along with the guy...Turned out he had a B16 or 18 or something with a turbo swapped into his car...So yeah I found the one fast civic for the 100 slow onws

Seems like the fastest ones usually are fairly stock appearing,which are the ones I dont consider ricers.

 

Yeah always seems like the first mods are stickers, wings, and bodykits.

in fact i was driving home on the washington beltway a few nights ago, and some kid with his civic got on the highway next to me with his girl in the car. their were so many gauges in his car it looked like he had a blue flashlight beeming on his face. anyway, he started trying to pull on me so i just droped it a gear and toasted him. he was giving me a stair the entire time.

the car had a big jap sticker on his back window... go figure...

ill admit theres many people who have fast civics. who could prolly toast me. but the massive majoirty of the people are highschool students who cant afford a turbo and just plaster worthless crap on their car to make it look like a racer.

 

Your first sentence is exactly my point... what you read on here are perceptions, josh. Doesn't mean the majority of Honda owners are idiots. So, just stop talking now.

and i think everyone here can admit that usually when they see a civic... it has a catback and some stickers and sometimes a body kit and thats about it. most people here, i would bet, run into a stickerd civic more times then they run into a turbo'd

at no point did i say they were idiots... dont try to put words in my mouth. i simply stated that most people who own civics own them because they cant afford something more powerful... or a turbo to slap onto them to make them more powerful. usually because they are in school or college or something

its the same deal with mustangs... the majority of mustang owners own a v6. if they could afford a gt mach or cobra im sure they would get one.

im not saying civics are junk, like i said before there are some around that could toast me.

Then stop arguing with me about it because you feel the need to tell me that there are stickered riced out Hondas out there. We know, but my point was that the majority of what you see isn't the actual MAJORITY of Hondas.
