Been waiting for this since I installed the s/c!!! Was in the turn lane when the vette puled up next to me in the straight lane, I got over on his left at the light an started smoking them. He did the same, light turned green, and I got him off the jump. Beat him to the next light by 2-3 car lengths, he was not gaining as we slowed for cars at next light. Rolled down window and told him he better learn how to shift!!! haha!

You should learn to be a little more gracious. Plenty of people out there that can hand your *** to you and if one of them did that you would be starting the "this guy beat me in a street race and then was a dick" thread.

 

LOL. and i thought revving to instigate a race was bad. any more details then that? yes, he should learn how to drive, but u shouldnt be such a bad sport. and what if his was auto? what would he think then?

He was a young kid in Daddys vette, it was a joke being it was an automatic I think. He seemed to powerbrake it at the light. I love that I beat a vette tho, just such a thrill!!

I was just like a kid in a candy store, first time I got to race someone from dead stop since I put the s/c in!!! I'll learn to be more modest, but its hard your first race and against a 50k vette!!

 

You do understand that there is an edit button and you can just add to your previous post instead of continously responding to yourself, right?
