I know its nothing to be bragging about but the guy had been talking so much **** about how i didnt want any of his 05 Ion Redline that i had to post it.

To keep it simple, guy i work with bought a redline, went out and put the beatdown on some of the normal weekend ricers in town. Begins to tell me how he was going home and ends up racing a car just like mine (02 gt) and of course, he won. I say either the guy didnt know how to drive or he wasnt really racing u. So then it starts,' I'll smoke your mustang, u dont want none". So we end up racing four times from a dig and i put like ten cars on him every time, would've only raced once but he kept on giving me the ' i missed a gear' excuse. Like i said, its not like i'm bragging but it just feels so good when somebody is doggin your car down to go give them a beating.

 

I call bs...no stock GT will consistently beat an Ion Redline.. or another similar car for that matter.

EXACTLY , u could easily come up on a 99-04 GT w/ good milage or an LS1 for crying out loud. i dunno if its that his insurance is the issue or if he just wanted a car that will lose to friggin cobalts... does his dealer have a return policy?? oh shyt , actually i think saturn does have one , fill him in on that

 

lol what was the cobalt ss to expensive so he bought saturn version, arent they the same price though.
