So me and three of my freinds piled into my new Bullitt last night after I finished putting in my new stereo. We were on our way to mcdonalds and a yellow GTO turned onto this road just ahead of us. So I downshifted into 3rd, we were goin about 45ish, I gave it a little gas trying to get his attention. He just ignored me. Then I just thought meh, w/e then he like floors his car, and it had a terrible exhuast note. But at the next light when it turned green we took off, and I pulled on him pretty hard, but then I bounced off the rev limiter, and had to turn also. But All in all I think I could have kept up with him, possibly passing him.

As for the pics im still waiting for the weather to clear up, and me to have time to wash wax clay bar etc. But I will do it someday.

The bullit has a different intake manifold and "upgraded" aka different exhaust and that's it. I'm not buying that a basic bolt-on mustang gt loaded with people could pass even an LS1 GTO... I'm sorry, I just don't.

He may have jumped on the throttle just to get you to stfu and the laid off.

 

+1. If it was an LS1, then you ran into a crappy driver. I it was an LS2, then he was towing a railroad car full of lead ore.
The GTO has never had four doors. Are you even talking about the right car? Was it a Charger? They have four doors, the Goat has two.

 

well did it have the slits in the hood and dual exhaust???? If not it was the 5.7 LS1

 

I know its a V-8 cuase the cars owner lives right around the corner from me. We started from a stop, and I was keeping up with him, we both had quite a bit of passenger weight in our cars to. I dunno it was fun none the less.
