Excellent video, and you are right the 05's are torquey. My friend has an '05 and he kept getting me on the line but I would catch up to him and be on his ***, since new mods I have not raced him again. I will do it one day. You guys made a great video. Congrats!

That would be me. That was about my 5th attempt at the heel/toe method, so I am still a noob, lol. He was nice enough to edit out the part of me smoking my clutch trying to do the heel/toe, lol. He was also nice enough to edit out a race where I missed 2nd. With a Hurst short throw non the less, lol!!
hahahahaha i still have never done a REAL burnout. So i'm not one to talk.
I know this is a noob question, but how do you do a standing burnout with a manual transmission?

Dump the clutch, hit the brake and nail the gas!

Both cars have identical mods. 4.10's, CAI/tunes, some exhaust. Nothing major.

Nice runs man, it's cool to see that thing go. Are you going to hwy anytime soon? I want to see how my '92 does vs your beautiful '05. If it doesn't rain tonight, I'll be there with a few buddies of mine.

OR, the way i do it.........put your right foot on the brake....about halfway on the pedal..have the clutch pushed in(of course). rev it up with your right foot, still on the brake, then dump the clutch. its great. then, let the smokeshow begin

Press clutch, (tranny in first gear) Press on the gas (you may want your rpms at least higher than 4500), both at the same time. Then let go of clutch and press on brakes lightly just to hold the car from rolling and enjoy
