I raced a 2004/5ish Porsche Carerra from a 10mph roll... when i punched it i went over a bump and spun a little but as soon as i caught traction i was dead even until we let off at like 100ish...It was sick!

I have Headers, o/r x-pipe, flowmaster cat-back, cai, bumped timing, adjustable fuel pressure regulator...

I Dyno at 207hp and 272tq...

I tried to race a newer Boxster, but the guy was old and he gave me the look like, you're not worth my time []. If only he knew...

 

Hmm...doubtful it was a Carrera. Those things are smoking. The 911 is my favorite car. Always will be. They are built so solid, extremely reliable, fast, handling is a dream, fast, did I say fast? etc...

 

no way it was a carrera dude. but nice job keeping up with whatever porsche you did! i raced a brand new boxster type s and beat him by about 2-3 cars from a dig a while ago.

The older boxsters like 1998 were a POS imo. The new one isn't bad, but I still don't think it deserves to be a porsche. [:'(]

I don't think the Carerra is really fast. The consultant I use for our R&D grants has a 96 or 97 seriously modded 911 turbo. He used to fly by me like I was standing still. He tells me my stock 05GT would have been pretty even with a Carerra (until we hit a cuvre, of course). [&o]

I've done a few mods since then. We did a short run in front of my shop last week.



He still beats my ***........[&o]

Is the Carerra in fact the 911T? If it is, then there is no way you can hang with one. I've got more mods and he can still hand me my *** with a 96T
