Planning a race...
So I'm planning on racing my dad in his 90 Thunderbird SC. It's an automatic. Only mod he has is a pulley swap but he is getting his exhaust worked next week. He's talking about wanting to race once he gets the exhaust done. I know you guys hate bench racing but how do you think I'll do?
I'm stock BTW.

Does he have the 305ci or the 350ci? Either way has atleast 200hp at the crank..and with the supercharger+pulley swap= your death.
My condolences nice and early...

I thought your were talkin about a trans am for some reason...
Thunderbirds didn't have V8's in 1990 right? Either way the V6 was still cooking with around 210hp so with the pulley swap..yeah I still say it= your death.
My condolences again..

Well, at least you gave me a reply even though it was bad news.
And yeah, it is a 3.8 V6 w/ a Eaton SC.

I believe those S/C'd T-Birds were low 15 second cars. Which I think it would be a good race stock for stock, but the pulley swap and exhaust is gonna up his power a decent amount. Nice death ahead of time.
