who would win? this guy thinks he will beat me in his eclipse gts 5 speed that is completely stock, i want to know if i would beat him or not? and also how would i do against an rsx type s with header and exhaust? any help would be appreciated so i could win some money maybe

 

Dont even worry about it!! Dude its an eclipse. As for the rsx-s with exhaust.......i honestly dont know i would have to say a win for you!!

 

Isnt the GTS a 200hp eclipse like the GT

 

the gt has 260 hp stock with 300 foot pounds of torque i highly doubt that a v6 n/a mitsubishi is anywhere close to that

 

you'll be fine in the 01 against either car rsx's are high 14 second cars low 15 seconds if i remember right i almost raced one one night but cops were out everywhere but i wouldnt be worried i beat an S2000 on the interstate by 3 cars when i had similar mods to you so you'll be fine i would offer $20 for the race and im sure you'll come out $20 richer

 

My friend's RSX-S ran 13.9@103

He has headgaskets, KPRO, full exhaust(header too), and motor/transmission mounds. Oh, and a CAI. Those cars do wonders with a few little mods.

The GTS you should worry about an MBC or something

Both cars stock dont stand a chance.

 

13.9 at 103 thats not bad at all maybe they are a little faster than i thought

 

I think it was those head gaskets that pushed it into the 13's.

 

That would be the GS-T that would have a MBC not the GTS. The GTS is a 210 hp V-6, the GS-T is a 210 hp turbo 4 cylinder

 

even the turbo eclipse is slowwww, like 14.6 at best
