I need another sports car... My need to race is just to much.

Today on my way home from work this guy in the late 80's early 90's GMC 1/2 ton extended cab long bed z71 pulls up next to me in my poor little "defenseless" ranger.. He rev's.. I ignore.. he takes off on green spinning his tires and leaves me... So we pull up to hte next light... Im thinking no way in hell am I gonna let someone get one over on me w/o atleast putting up a fight! Lol, Went green, brokem loose, got traction (only took .004 seconds.... lmao), caught the guy, powershifted into second chirping the wheels, and just flew by him. I did notice the shocked look on his face as I went by. Lmao... ancient 4.0L 2750lb truck > ancient stock 350 4800lb truck [8D] (atleast it sounded stock to me... definatly didnt have exhaust... was a z71 so I dont think it was the 305 either..)



Sorry for the long post.. just first meaningful race since I sold the cobra.. and dying to get another sports car early next year or later htis year [&:]

Its my ancient 93 2wd work truck...
No we are planning on moving after our house sells.. so I went ahead and sold the cobra.. would have been a pain in the *** to move it with the rest of our stuff.. and I spend so much time driving to and from work that I was having to make time to drive the cobra.. so wasnt getting ot enjoy it as much anymore... Went from a 2kv6 to an 01 F-150 to my 97 cobra.. then somehow ended up back with a 93 ranger. Still trying to figure htat out. lol.

*EDIT: And it wasnt 1-1.. it was 1-0... I didnt think the guy was serious the first time or he woulda been toast twice...

.. and while im editing.. After I whooped him.. I actualy saidout loud.. "Wow, did I just powershift a damn ford ranger? ... I gotta get another car"

 

gotcha. wish u wouldnt have "had" to sell it, but, understand the circumstance...hopefully u sold it to a gearhead who will take care of it ???.......id be wondering about that too.
