ET 13.7 is this right????
well if you drive your car every day, maybe not, but i wasnt sure. 3.90's wouldnt be much worse than 3.73's but not near as bad as 4.10's. im just saying if you put 3.90's youd feel more of an improvement over the 3.55's. id run at leat 91 on any H/C/I car. idk about timing
Ok this is what I need to do is get a better intake some good traction first and run it and see what appends. then I will tri some 3.73 gears.
and hopefully tune it soon because it runs rich.
thanks guys for the healp.

Your 60' his hurting you, it is said that for every tenth in the 60', you gain two tenths in Et. and what rpms are you shifting and what gear are you in at the end of the track, because you should be passing through the traps at around the same rpms, this will determine the proper gear and cam set up. just curious, why the B-cam and not the E? Also the intake and non tune is killing you. Imagine running up a hill with the smallest straw you can find. Thats what your intake is doing to you engine, starving for air. When you see advertising for 40 hp gains from an intake, that is with the supporting mods you already have, once you match that intake with your heads, that car will fly. I went through the same thing, trust me you are in the right direction. good luck.
fist gear I shift at 6000 rpm 2nd 3rd I shift at like 5500 rpm.
at the end of the quarter I could top out 3rd 6500 rpm but it don't pick up as good as if I shift to 4th .
About the cam, I got the Bcam because some guy that owns a mustang shop told me that the Bcam is better.

That 9:1 CR isn't helping you, either. The F303 cam would be a good choice, as well. You shouldn't have to worry about clearance considering the type of pistion needed to get 9:1. Ditto on the intake.
You haven't modified your stock suspension, I'm guessing. A set of control arms will help you plant the power better.

9.1 CR yea I don't like it, before I did the head swap it was 10.1. it surprised me when I checked it
the only thing I have done to the suspension is spring that gave me a 1 1/2" drop, this helped me with some traction.

the lowering springs will actually hurt your 60', lowering springs just hurt the weight transfer.
look into some tires and suspension.
suspension- subframes, control arms, drag springs, shocks/struts. Since your lowered and probly like that just change out the front springs with some 4cyl fox body springs, and stuts. you might cut to your liking. but put them on first to see how they look first
tires- depending if your auto or manual. for manual I would just skip the dr's and go for the MT ET streets. for a auto you can get away with a DR.
ok some good news I bought a trick flow intake and I checked my compression and it is at 10.1. this time I checked it when the engine was worm.
when I get the intake installed ill run it again at the track to see what it dose.
