He pulled up next to me in the passing lane doing 40 mph, we both d/s into 2nd(love that sweet spot on the Stang!), and floored it. I was a car length ahead by the time I redlined in 2nd, and he lifted. Short and sweet.

Nice kill, my friends dad (where only 17) got a 06 350z the other day and my friend let me drive it, so we took it out and damn that car is pretty quick but it really dosent feel like it. So we pulled up next to an eclipse that reved up at us and i let him go to think he was ahead and put the peda down and blew right past him. There fun cars with very tight handling but i missed the feel of the torque and power in a mustang.

You're spot on about the torque. The 06 350Z has only 260 ft-lb max, while my Stang has approx. 340 ft-lb max with the listed mods. That difference gave me the win.
