Well I got to race a c6 vett. The 1st race was from a dig I beat him by a car too a car and a half.Then we race from a 35 and he beat me by a car. So I am happy my car can hang with a car that is 30k more then mine

Second, A Vortec supercharger is not cheap plus add your supporting mods and beleive me dude that shaves a hell of alot off that $17K margin. .............So don't give yourself too big a patt on the back because you will find your not that far behind the cost of a Vette.

I can run 89 octane with my street tune so I do gas is soooo high and it is my DD
I have 15k into that car that is the car and all mods so that is me saving 32k lol

yep yep paid 8k for car 3k for vortech thats with 42 injectors 90mm maf and focus pump then dyno time a hour 75$ so we are at 12k then I have cams 300 used spec clutch 400 70mm thr plen and steeda shifter so we are at what 13k have headers 250 h pipe 50 and mufflers off old car freeb well you get it not much in a car that runs mid 12s soon to be high 11s with better springs and a few other things so I did real good DD car in the 11s. Next year 17k in the car low 11s high 10s

Since you are comparing a used car price to a new car price. I've seen 2001 Vettes in the low $20K range. This "I beat him in a car that's cost way less" sounds like a broken record on here. I could by a POS Pinto for $100 and drop $8000 under the hood and I would be destroying cars that are Tens of thousands more. Yeah a Pinto is nothing compared to a Stang as far as refinement, just as a Stang falls well short of a Vette.

and if u only paid 8g's that car must have a lot or miles and I can find a vette for around the same price u paid for your car and mods.
not to mention that the vette would be getting around 10 more mpg.
