First one I raced was a 94 5.0 with flowmasters and d/r, i spun real bad off the line and he was ahead of me all the way til about 70 mph than i gained about 2 car lengths on him, second one was a 94 5.0 automatic with shift kit, 3.73 gears, throtte body space, cai, and i think that was it, it was ahead of me all the way to about 75 mph than i passed him and he was to my back door when we let off at 90, shouldn't I of beat these cars a little worst than what I did, I figured I'd kill them.

 

5.0's have tons of torque........ you have a big advantage in HP but they make up for it in torque. thats why they both beat you to 70, nice kills tho
