Default my track times

Last night was the first time I have ever ran my car at a track. It was a great experience. Tell me what you guys think I need to improve upon.

330---5.823
1/8---8.801
MPH---82.81

Best Times Overall:
R/T---.598
60'---2.115
330---5.823
1/8---8.801
MPH---82.81

Average Times:
R/T---.624
60'---2.285
330---6.136

Any thoughts?

That and are you spinning off the line and powershifting through gears or granny shifting?

I have a little bit of spin coming off the line, I need some DR's. And I am shifting normally. I heard powershifting isn't to good for your car. What is a good 60'?

It was at Irwindale Speedway. I am not sure of the eleveation but I know it isn't a significant number.

I wonder what other 05/06's are running in the 1/8th mile?

2.0x 60' times are good, and a 1.9 or under is just great. Powershifting does effect the life of your tranny somewhat, but if you wanna win some races your gonna need to powershift or get more mods. About what other 05/06 GT's are running in the 1/8, I dont know, but there are some 99-04 GT's with just intake, exhaust and tune like you running 8.8 or better. DR's will help shave off a few tenths, so get some and head back to the track. Also, if your not spinning off the line, are you bogging, and what rpms are you launching at?

Actually, I think your times are great! and that trap speed looks very good! If you are running street tire, a 2.115 is respectable in my books if it was your first time out and your a 5-speed. Judging by your 1/8 mile time your 1/4 mile time should be atleast 13.5 or better......Great job

yeah i don't powershift when i'm at the track. Because i don't want to make a habit of it and i don't do that on the street.
