FUN KILL (WRX COOL)
so im goin home from work tonite ( i worked 830-1230) and i was about to cross a major street in orange county cali when i see a WRX non STI which obviously wasnt stock pull into the left turn lane next to me. so what does a mustang driver do? i wait for the light to turn and pull into the turn lane and pull a flyby getting up to about 60(and before i hear all the BS about street racing it was about 1am on a four lane road and NOONE was one this particular road). so we pull up to the next light and the guy goes "that sounds nice!" and i tell him the same, and it was the truth too. turns out he had an exhaust and intake and i really respect the subaru line for what they get out of a 4 banger. so he says "lets see what you got from a dig in there". so we go and i get a SICK jump on him, perfect launch with no spin, hit second with a nasty spin, hit third with a nice chirp and finally slow down at about 85 with 6+ car lengths on him. he was really nice and we chit chatted for a couple of mins about our cars at the light and then drove off our seperate ways. anyone else notice that WRX drivers are some of the nicest ricers on the road? and what do you think about the kill?

thanks undefeated, appreciate the encouragement. i have just found in general that for some reason WRX owners seem to have more respect and open-mindedness to american cars with some power than your typical import car driver (and thats part of the reason i respect them more i think).

Nice kill. Subaru's have always had a unique sound due to their flat 4. Even when you have exhaust it's not that annoying sound you sometimes get with a Honda or Acura with exhuast. It's much deeper. When I owned my WRX I met a few other WRX owners that were pretty cool. Even had got to line up with one the exact same color as mine at Moroso one evening. I really wupped him but he was new to his car. He was really nice though.
