WTF!!!! Flat Tire!!!!!!
Last night, i caught a shard of metal in my BRAND NEW MT et streets, going DOWN THE TRACK!![:@]...by the time i got back to the staging lanes, it was flat as could be. It took 2 cans of fix-a-flat to get the car back home....is there any way i can patch the tire or am i f*cked......BRAND NEW TIRES....FIRST RUN DOWN THE STRIP AGHHHH[:@][:@][:@]
That really blows. (Sorry bad pun) I guess it would depend on how big the gash is. I really don't know if it can be fixed since it's a drag tire and most places migth be worried about liability. I for one would be worried it would let go during a run. Also sucks because those tires don't have warranties. [:@] Sorry about the tire. All I can say is it could have been way worse. You could have ended up in the wall.
its right smack in the middle of the tread side of the tire, the hole looks like someone drove a roofing nail through it and the the rubber partially sealed it up, i mean it was small enough for fix-a-flat to seal it and not leak after a 20 mile drive home
M/T recommends tubes with E.T. Streets (not E.T. Radials)

If the cut is not too bad, get the tubes and you're back in business. Jegs has the tubes.

If its like a nail whole then your golden to patch. I have put probly 15 patches in my buddys beater jeep, almost all were from nails. They have all held to.
