Less than a month ago i bought a 99 GT. I put on SLP LM1 catback and it already had K&N. Anyway i was on my way to a friends house and came up to the last light before his street. I looked in my side mirror and saw the lights of a G35 coming up. It was a middle age guy and he pulled about half a car past me stopped at the light and reved his engine. So i put the car in first and waited for green. The light turned green but unfortunetly i forgot to turn my Traction Control off. So the nose of my car was just behind his door when i hit second, i pulled up on him a little bit and he was barely ahead. I hit 3rd and started pulling away from him until 4th when my car pulled way ahead... he was behind my rear bumper. I shut down at about 105. I slowed down to make my turn and gave him a wave as he passed by. I've rode in a G35 before and thought it was pretty quick, is this a good kill? I never realized how racing gets the adreniline pumping!!

 

nice kill... yeah adreniline gets me going to.. my foot starts twitching and hands get shaky.. i dont know if it is the racing that does it or the fear of getting busted

NIce win man, I've been dying to race one of those but it seems that every one I come across doesn't want to race. Oh well, it'll happen soon enough. With my luck though, I'll probably run across one that is modified and get spanked. [:@] lol

 

sounds like the guy could drive but i think u could have done better

no1 is perfect on there first race haha

they are 3.5L heavy cars whereas ur stang is built for speed [8D]

i assume it was a 4 door? the coupes are faster and prob would have ran right with you

I love the LM1's. At first i was a little nervous cause everybody was saying they were obnoxiously loud but i don't think their to loud at all... BTW the G35 was a 2door
