Finally i got to see what my car could do. Im an auto he was a stick. I pulled up to a light and a 350 z looked stock with an older man drivin. Ididnt think much of it and the light turned green and he gunned it. so like a half a sec later i hit mine. I stay about a half a car behind him he shifts to second and my auto is still climbing and i almost put even. My car shifts then he is back to about a half a length. From about 40 mph on he started to pull a little.Then we both shut off about 65 70 and he was only about a car ahead of me maybe a car and a half. I wanted to pull up and say its only a v6. But out of no where a stock v6 camaro darts in front of me to line up with the 350. so i switch lanes to get behind the Z and they both hit it and the z take him pretty eazy then i pull right up even and pass the camaro pretty eazy. I was excited to see how my mods compaired to a stock 3.8.

yea i wanted to build a respectable v6 that could give a gt with a bad driver with a run and i think ive done that. But now all i want to do is go faster so i guess ill just keep moddin

 

right on...a 350z is no sloutch that's for sure

 

your proud of beating a stock 350z with probably a 2.4L..and u have a v6 with mods...sounds pretty lame

 

aren't the 350z's rated at like 285 hp? He should be proud..

Hell yeah he should be proud. Isn't that engine like a 3.5L or something. I rented one for a weekend but I can't remember. The autos have 285 and the Manuals have 300. Good job on the kill man.
