Disclaimer**Before I start I just want to mention that this happened on a CONGESTED road filled with buses full of nuns and senior citizens** So I was out doing the whole cruising thing when I see some HIDs coming up behind me. I figure a lexus or bmw or whatnot... WRONG. It was a brand new silver 06' Z06 and the driver wasn't afraid to run. So we run a few times from light to light. Each time he has me by 3-4 lengths right from the get go (probably at 1/2 throttle too lol). The exhaust sounded so nice, just kept getting louder and louder, I couldn't hear my car at all. Then after our last run I see another vehicle coming up fast on my behind, only this ones got a light bar on the roof. BUSTED, right? Wrong! The cop does a fly-by and turns off the road that we're on. Me and Mr. Z06 both look at each other shocked and shortly after that parted ways. I figure someone must have been murdered somewhere for that cop to not bother with us. Needless to say a very lucky night for me.

 

I am suprised he would even waste his time and gas racing you.

 

He probably doesn't get to run into a lot of Vipers and Ford GTs, and he didn't buy the car to just slowly cruise to and from work, so I don't see why he wouldn't want to punch it off with a Mustang now and then.

 

yea got to have fun every once in a while, he could of kept it in a higher gear though and have it be more even
