for those of you from the greater detroit area...several local PDs have gotten all black SS's...i saw one the other night with DRs and huge exhaust...with a mustang pulled over..[&:]

 

Camaro SS ???? i saw a Z28 in one of the highway "cutouts" the other year around here. that kinda put fear into me when i saw that. lol but i dont do the "interstate thing". im a light to light guy.

 

this was in a light to light area...but its an area where i have often screwed around...and im sorry, i said SS because someone else told me that this particular dept has an SS..it was completely debadged...

well the last, first, only time ive been to the track i my best time was 20.3 and the main reason for so slow is cause i was shifting at 3K(which i now know better of) and i also had my stock 1brl which has now been upgraded to a 2brl holley 500cfm and a guess on power i would guess somwhere in the range of 170-180 at the flywheeland prolly around 130 at wheels and im goin to the track in a coupke o weeks and hope to be in the mid 16's

there aint no way ill be able to go to CO mainly cause the car is in my moms name(im only 17) and i have school plus my mom would kick my *** but i thank you for liking wut i have don with my car and this is only the beginning can u say alum head turbo and nitrous(for track only of course)

 

i have a '65 straight six, im thinkin about moddin mine too. more for fun than actual speed, unless i go forced induction its not like that engine would ever beat my stock GT. lol.

 

dont race on the highway/interstate

even light to light is pretty sketchy all depends where you live

if i was goin like 70 mph and i saw a yellow/red light ahead and no one on the road im not gunna hit the brakes...and i doubt any1 else would either

not only do u gotta worry about runnin lights/hitting ppl but alot of lights are equipped with cameras

 

i hear in DE we have a cop w. a black 350z now...instigates races and pulls ppl over. thats just not right[&o]

 

location

on a fri or saturday night, go to where its 4 lanes or more, large population, and a lot of stop lights

thats almost a garantee for racing. . .

 

i would have to beg to differ about ur statement saying that u will never be able to beat a stock GT there r many people with I6s that r deep into the 13's 12's and even 1 in the 11's and for about $1000 if u have som welding skills u could have a 13 sec I6 easy with a custom made turbo manifold and if u wanna check out som people stuff go to www.fordsix.com and go to the forums and look around a lil and for parts go to www.classicinlines.com they r even designing and r almost to production with an aluminum head
