one of my friends has a 91 or so AWD Eclipse 5spd running 20lbs of boost his other mods are exhaust fuel rail and injectors right now its got and o2 sensor out but once he gets it fixed we are gonna race i know those cars run low 15's stock but im pretty sure they only have like 8lbs of boost stock and i know they can be fast as hell so what should i expect? my mods and 1/4 time are in sig

 

I'm assuming that's on the 14b turbo, when he gets that o2 fixed it could be anywhere from mid-13's to mid-12's, more likely 13's though.
Should be a pretty good race, get some vid!

 

I don't see him running mid 12s with a 14b unless he has one nasty tune. But that type of **** does happen. Looking at your mods and posted time it should be a pretty close race. Good luck[8D]

 

The wierd thing is 20psi, that's not very efficient for a 14b, he might have a better turbo.

 

I assume the 13.5 is your best ever time so I'd bet you'll both run high 13's. If he can drive he'll outlaunch you and you'll have to play catch-up good luck, let us know the results.

 

My cousin had an Eagle Talon TSI with 14psi turbo all done up and ran 11.9 in the 1/4mi. The only way you'll win is his turbo has seen the best of days or he doesn't have everything put together properly. You'll lose!!! Sorry. At even 14psi he'll have 300hp with a car only weighing 2900lbs. that's 600lbs lighter than you

 

Yea I was thinking that too but I figured since the OP never said what kind of turbo the guy had I assumed it was stock. If he upgraded the turbo its probably what 95% of the DSM community has/wants: a Evo3 16g

 

those are really quick cars i have a 95 eclipse gsx awd turbo for my winter car and one of my friends has a 92 with the evo3 turbo and an intercooler and all of the basics and it runs low 12s high 11s

 

I hate to say it, but I think you're overestimating a lil' bit, he'll need all of that 20psi to have 300hp on a smaller turbo, it should be pretty damn close.
