Huh, I see far more men driving them, although my g/f has one, as well as her ex-roommate (who ditched it for a Terminator).

So you are about as fast as a 99+ Stang. IMO you won't win givin equal drivers in both cars.
Wouldn't he have gotten to the level of a new edge with just the head swap? I've been told on this site that a PI-swapped GT will actually make a bit more power than a stock 99-04.

Is the Firebird in question a 6-speed or auto? If an auto, does it have 2.73 gears or 3.23's? A 2.73-geared auto will be the easiest adversary, and you can refer to my sig for an idea of what it could do.

Dude, a lid gave you almost 1mph? Did you have lid and K&N or just lid?

I am going to DEFINITELY do a lid when I get my LS1!!!

A lid will give between 8 and 10 rwhp (dyno verified by GM High Tech Performance's lid comparison). The first two runs listed in my sig were done about 4 days apart with similar weather conditions (although I don't have the respective density altitudes written down). A K&N filter will give you nothing: the filter size is adequate enough to allow enough air to filter through even a stock paper one. I have one just so that I don't have to keep buying new ones. Also, my lid is clear and the K&N looks a little better.

I have Pi heads cams and intake, 4:10's, accel coils, taylor wires, and Diablosport with the diablotune. How do you think i would do against the LS1 (bonestock)

0-45 or 50 it wouldnt be too bad, above 50 he (or she as the only LS1's where I live are female owned/driven, or so it seems, never seen a guy in one) would roast you horridly.
yeah whats up this that. i swear i see more middle aged women driving ls1's...
Most women driving LS1's that I see are in Vette's . I don't see alot of females driving LS1 F-body's (even though there is a hot blonde up the block with a 00-02 SS vert with chrome stock rims)

I see older, RICH wifey types in C6's all day long here, but most younger (20-30yo) girls drive the F-bodies, very few men have them, just judging by my daily commute.

No i will definatley race him how my car is now but i know he wont be leaving it stock. I think it already has a lid and K&N filter and its also a 6-speed.

So i raced him tonight and lost! The first race i spun too much 1st and 2nd completely, so we rematched and i eased through 1st gear and hammered into second and spun through all of it, but the second race he only had bout a half to a car length on me. btw my tires are completely worn i cant see tread anymore
