My track, they don't require anything at all, really... I could have run a 10 flat pass and they would have let Fastlane034 ride with me, neither of us with a helmet, or a cage in the stang... Depends on the track really, but this one is such a POS I can't expect a half-decent time anyway... I'm going wednesday, we'll see how it plays out.

the track just emailed me back, said no one allowed, but wont hurt to ask in person next time I go

I think it depends on the track.I remember seeing a V6 Camaro with 3 people in the car running mid 11s.....................IN THE 1/8th!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was trapping at like 62mph.I guess when your going that slow they wouldn't care if you had someone riding on the hood!!!!!!

I think hiding them in the trunk would be more fun!!!!!

good point, with the hatch they would still be able to film, and better weight distribution for the launch, nothing really to hold on to tho

they let us ride passengers yesterday as long as they had a helmet we did get introuble for ripping off a 12.4 with a passenger though.

nice, ill bring an extra helmet next time just incase, if not my hatch and rear windows have 5% tint so theyre not seeing anything in the back

where i run its the 14.00 for passengers, but i dont think they need helmets...

i wonder if someone could have rode ON my car when i ran my 32 second quarter mile....hmmmmm[>:]

At my track you can have a passenger but if you run quicker than 8.8 you both have to have a helmet (Irwindale Speedway 1/8th mile track). As for the passengers, I hope you guys are only putting women in your cars. Thats what I like to do .
