Just Got Back From the Track (update)
I just got back from the local drag strip in LaRue, OH and posted by personal best time with my '85 SVO. It ran 14.26@93.77mph.
I was very happy, that is a better time than what I ran at Norwalk which is a much nicer track. For all of the racers out there, here's the stats:
60ft-1.9489
1/8 ET-9.0908
1/8 mph-76.03
1/4 ET-14.2679
1/4 mph-93.77

Thanks everybody. It's got 3in. exhaust to the muffler then 2.5 out the back, ranger roller cam, the turbo coupe ic, and the LA3 swap with 35# injectors. Boost is set at 20psi with some race gas to guard against detonation. The drag radials make the biggest difference. The car doesn't make enough low down torque to spin easily, so set the tire pressure at about 20 and simply hold the gas to the floor and let go of the clutch.
When new, the 85's were rated at 175hp and good for a 15.4 1/4 time.
Thanks stanger88, I do like to think I'm a pretty decent [sm=gears.gif].

Went to Norwalk and lowered my best to a 13.97@96.91mph. Some more timing, some fuel pressure adjustments, and a nicer track contributed to this. Next up is alky injection and 25lbs of boost.[sm=badbadbad.gif]
