I second the helion twin turbo kit. That should put you at about the 900 hp mark. Should be enough to take him.

I doesn't take 1000hp for a mustang to beat a 1000hp supra in a drag race.600-700 hp with a solid rear end,some deep gears and slicks should do the trick.Supras suck from a dig.

Has he even dynoed this "1000hp" supra. Just because someone labeled it as a possible 1000hp car it doesnt mean its anywhere near that. I myself doubt it has 1000hp. Probably in the 700ish range but who knows.

If you're serious... which you probably arent. Sell your car. Take your 25k. Buy a 2001 mustang GT for like 10-11k. Take it to MPH, give them 20k. You dont just throw this **** together to be at that power. 600rwhp...yeah just buy a KB kit, but that supra is still gonna own the **** out of you own the highway.

He has a t-88, so you get a t-88. Your going to need to build your whole car if you buy that kit, but it aims for 1500hp. You'll kill the supra, but it wont really be streetble. I dont think you will have a very streetable car that can beat 1000hp supra though. Good Luck

My advice is to sell your car, buy a Vette, and let lingenfelter work it over. Not to diss the mustang, but anyone taking a mustang over 200mph (what you will be doing if you roll with this Supra) is an idiot in my opinion simply due to aerodynamics. The car was NEVER intended to go over about 150 and over 200 is a WHOLE DIFFERENT GAME, at least the 'vette was designed with a higher speed in mind.
