Both LPE and Hennessey have cars that produce in excess of 1000hp. I know the LPE makes 1k hp on pump gas/air conditioning/all power options/etc....not sure on the Viper, I'm sure it's the same though. Both make that power at realitively low boost. When they tested the LPE Vette against the fighter jett in that one magazine article, it had larger turbo's and more boost than the 1k hp ones make....I'm guessing around 1400'ish.

 

Ford GT is an awesome car.

The clips of the car going fast and doing dyno pulls are great. too bad there is 19minutes of filler. *way* too long

 

Man, 1000+hp Vettes, GT's, and Vipers..........I just know I'd kill myself in one of those things at some point. It's after watchin something like this video that you really feel the lack of a good Autobahn style freeway in this country.
