Default Improved Track Times

I went to the track tonight and was getting consistent 2.0 60 feet times. Ran a best of 8.682 @ 82.63.(1/8th mile obviously)

Before tonight I would always get in the 2.1's. Any explanation for this? Cold weather, better track prep could be part of the reason. I guess practice makes perfect. Now time for some DR's!

Really nice times man. Those 3v's can be badass with just a couple bolt ons.

Are you powershifting or granny shifting? I am granny shifting, I will start powershifting once I get a short shifter. I figure powershifting may be good for a tenth of a second or so.

Oh ya, I forgot to add this in my original post. I saw a GT500 there (on DR's) running 8.0xx. I was not very impressed. I also saw a Saleen S/C (S197) on DR's running 7.85 and it was automatic. I had a big grin on my face .

i wasn't "powershifting" per say. . . but i was shifting very fast, the only difference between powershifting and how i was shifting is i ease off the throttle enough during the shift to where the RPMS don't climb. . . i would say i pull off the throttle about 1/3 off. . . maybe 1/2, so its not bouncing the rev limiter when i shift, i hate that, but yeah, some ppl say i shift as fast as an auto in mine
