His car would *** pummel a C6. It would PROBABLY be close to a C6 Z06 unless the guy was a real driver.

Man, Corvette guys are touchy. Too funny.

C6Vette. I am going to go out on a limb and say that at least 90% of the people here mod there cars to go faster. It's one of the main reasons for this forum. You should accept the fact that that there are going to be some people here with cars that will put you away in a 1/4 mile race. Sure you could take them stock for stock, but if I lined up against you, are you going to ask me to remove my supercharger, headers, meth kit, exhaust, etc? It's your choice to keep your car stock. Don't get bent when someone with a modified Stang can beat you. Race them to 186 if it makes you feel better.

Why are we talking about making a 2v 400 whp? jdblack has a 4.6 3v, they are tons easier to make 400 whp.

Stang, good thinking - he'd make you feel like a fool. Yes, he's built a 420rwhp N/A 2v on street gas - not common - but he's done it... I was looking for the pm he'd sent me... lol

I like messing with C6 and Mr Rogers, there a few of the cool Corvette guys i've met, (rare breed).. lol... I know Mr Rogers would absolutly WASTE me until I go whipple, or procharger which i doubt im doing, lol... but, the Cobras werent called terminators just for stock 4 stock... they also had that by how easy it is to mod the cars to kill anything... whats better then beating a C5 Z06? Buying a Cobra, a 80$ pulley, a 20$ belt, and a tune and wiping them off the face of the earth, lol.. theres a guy on svtperf, that went from 380 rwhp... to 430 or 440something with just a JLT ram air intake and a tune - Hey since Ford and GM might merge, maybe we'll get to see a SVT Corvette Z06? lol

I would have to see it to belive it. There is a guy on LS1tech.com with a 5.0 VT longblock. VT cams, stage 3 heads, full bolt-ons and LT's and a MEAN tune and he made 350whp... Point is, thats sorry as **** in my opinion. You need FI or displacement, one or the other. Even the 3V (while having a LOT MORE POTENTIAL) dies b/c of the displacement problems NA. Yes, I bet 400whp NA with a 3V would be a lot easier though.
