One of my friend just got a 2005 infinity G35, and is already talking about how fast it is and what not. I know my car isnt fast by all means (its not slow either, well to me), but i really know nothing about the G35's so i was wondering if it would be a long shot for me to beat him. I have a stock 94 GT with just exhaust and im getting some 4.10s put on hopefully sometime this week (theyre in my room just waiting, i cant wait). Im pretty sure his car is automatic also. If anyone knows what they run in the 1/4 mile or just has an opinion, please let me know. THanks.

 

Prolly not would be my guess even with those 4.10's you might need some more mods to pull out a win.

 

It is a long shot or more like you have no shot (even with your 4.10's). His car is about a full second faster , you would need full bolt-ons to have any chance of having a respectable race.

 

Haha yeah thats what i was afraid of. Oh well, maybe some day. Lol. Im thinking about getting nitrous soon tho so maybe thatll swing it in my favor. I guess ill just wait til then, then ill see how it goes.

 

He should be able to run mid 14's at least. The 6-speed G35's can run 13.9 or so.

 

get some mods first. till then, keep holding him off. or race him, but keep in mind, u might lose badly. as in 4 or so cars.

94-95 GT's are dogs in stock form. hes well into the mid-low 14s whilst your lucky to get a high 14.
