i thought the 05+ trapped anywhere between 104-106 ? ...my notch trapped 99mph when it was stock and now 101 with exhaust and CAI.[&:]

 

My Evolution tune was breaking up @ high RPM's. Waiting for a response from Fred. I am thinking since I had just re-loaded it and didn't give it time to "learn" anything that it was having issues.

All the '05 GT's I've seen run trap horrid numbers. I'm talking high 70's to low 80's in the 1/8th, but they typically ET fairly decent.

Dont worry my first time at the track was a high 17 embarassment(sp)

 

Don't forget to powershift, and don't slip the clutch. I hate clutch slippers. It's almost cheating, and besides you're messing up the clutch.

 

?? I'd rather slip the clutch than fry the tires more and run a 16 versus a 12.5 in my case SSteele.

 

Don't slip the clutch if you're coming off the line with slicks and want to see what the weakest point of your driveline is....maybe that's what he meant?

 

It really doens't matter, my mind is almost 100% made up that Patty won't be in my garage this winter, she will be sold, with something meaner coming in the spring. Still undecided about what though. If the Shelby is near MSPR, then it will be a Shelby for sure. If not, it will be an 04 Mystic Cobra, or a Viper. We shall see!!!
