1993 Mustang LX, mod that I know of: short shifter, 3:73 gears, AFR aluminum heads, thats all I know but his rear end is full built and it ran a 12.89 on slicks his dad told me a few weeks ago, so he calls me up, wanan race, no your car runs 12s, he says just for fun lets c what happens, so we take off perfect, both fishtailing he started pulled on me by half a car and im like byeee, all sudden i smash 2nd and catch up, at the end of 3rd his front bumper was at my rear bumper, I WON, I hit every gear perfect and won, maybe I just got the touch or a good drive mod cant wait to get to the track again

I ran a fox in my g/f's car at the track last week. Dunno what he had done but it was on Draglites and it was loud, sounded really good (like all 5.0's). I ran a 13.54 @ 104 to his 14.42 @ 94. Treed him by .200 as well.

 

what color was it? maroon? red?...

 

I have stock gears also, I might keep em stock I love how I race my freinds mustangs with 3:73s and 4:10s and once were out of 1st I pull on them every time but any ways I have a short shifter, headers, o/r H-pipe, and flows, and cold air intake, I think what really saved my *** is my drag radials, I only lauched at 2,700

 

DRIVER MOD!!!! man he should have got you,but street racing can get hairy as well as track racing so yeah it goes both ways...

 

I love the driver mod I finally installed heh, well were going to do it again and make a full like 5 min. video of it, rolling, digs, all that,just a complition of both mustangs, at the track and stuff, it was really fun thou, make hes just no used to racing with street tires, but he did have me off the line, and when he hit 2nd his car jumped to the right about a foot 0_0.

 

can't wait to see it now...been a while since i've seen some good 5.0 runs
