happens all the time here. 4outa5 guys here have lifted trucks with exhaust and what not. its disgusting. specially when i beat em from any speed. dig or not.

 

haha...we have a car club at my school with kids that think their trucks are the ****. One kid claimed that they only thing that could beat him in teh parking lot was this girl's LS1 trans am(who later got beat by my friends SR20 240...but she can't drive)...then, when we would try to race them for money, they'll back down, but still rev at us. They are the one's that get the one tire spinning out of the parking lot thinking they are cool, and I hate them. We were really making fun of one member who got beat by this kid's riced out mirage. That's right, the 115hp to the crank, mirage. Then he was making a bunch of excuses.

But, I had a friend with a mopar crate motor in his single cab ram that could run 14.4's, which is fast for a truck. Speaking of which, I'm going to run my mom's 06 Hemi Ram at the track this friday just to see what it runs.

I have seen plenty of diesels with basic mods, like exhaust, run deep into the 13s.. those things are pretty crazy once you put a couple of mods on them, diesels can run pretty ridiclous amounts boost through them... some of those gas powered trucks though, i mean comn now, those are straight crawlin... except trucks like the lightning, boss, f150 harley edition and the srt10 those are the only couple of gas powered trucks i can think of that actually move..

no offense to your friend, but thats terrible... my fiancees ram ran 14.8x with the bone stock motor...headers, computer, gears, pullies, and DRs...he might have gotten one of the very mild crate motors...some of them are barely better than stock. depending on what body style ram your mom has, it might almost run that...ive seen stock hemi rams, regular cab, run 15.0-15.1

Hahaha one time this truck caught me suprise, i was pulling away from a light and he gunned it. I saw his wheel in my side window and when i punched it too it took a second for me to pull from him. after that I was gone and he gave me a thumbs up but i thought i had just run into the fastest truck in my town haha
