My car is almost full bolt-on/big cam/stock heads and would make around 410'ish rwhp on a motor tune. Makes 393rwhp now on the nitrous tune.

As already said, extreme heads/cam packages in LT1's are good for 400'ish rwhp. Extremem heads/cam packages in LS1's are good for 440-450rwhp. And Tommy, they're perfectly streetable. Streetability is all in the eye of the owner.

In other words, the guy is full of it.

I'm not asking, "Oh if we raced who would win?" If I want to find that out I just race the person then post results, I was wondering if these kind of HP #'s were actually possible for this guys mods.
Thanks for clearing that up... I think he might be a little short of what he is claiming with the spray let alone N/A...

I agree that this guy is full of it.

I was in the Army with a guy who owned a racing shop with his father and his 02 SS had A LOT of work done to it and dynoed 425ish RWHP. This was a car that was worked on by prefessionals.

Yea, it takes at least a big cam and full bolt-ons to make 425rwhp in an '02 SS. Only the pros can swap a cam shaft though. [8D]

That means nothing, my 01 SS has 393 rwhp and I built it in my garage by myself, just because someone is a pro does not mean they know everything or know what parts to use. BTW this was on a Mustang dyno ,on a Dynojet I would have made over 400 rwhp, also I am a cam/bolt only car. 425 RWHP is easy on an LS1.

completely off subject (sorry about that) but what kind of difference (like in %) can be expected from a dynojet and a mustang dyno? i'm kinda curious because we don't have any mustang dynos in my area, and my buddy's 90' LX just put down 509/451 on a dynojet... what's a more realistic number here?

He would definitely need some sort of FI for 572 hp. LT1's are pretty capable motors with a heads and cam set up. But really more like 400hp. And even thats stretching it.
That guy I posted on awhile back had a 600 horsepower N/A LT1... but it wasn't stock displacement etc etc.
