<P align=left>OK i just bought my uncle's 95 3.8, $1000 so im not complaining about the 3.8. i drive it around a lot but not too many ppl race around my area,a couple nights agoi was at a light and a riced celica pulled up and revs his engine, some asian guy, he goes on green and i wait like a second then gun, it by the next light i was at least 5 car lengths infront of him</P>

That would be outstanding at the race track, but is it really that macho to "street race"? You may be perfectly happy with your skills, but what about the idiot that you're going down the "STREET" with? And someone on his forum may be thinking the same thing.

I honestly enjoy the power mods, the looks and the noise, but by God if you or the other idiot happens to kill a family of four, what then? I can see "jumping on it" on a strait of deserted road, but to race from light to light in a city or town?

My only hope is that the next time you or others like you do that, a cop will be present. This is a race forum, not a fu#*ing "street race forum".

The "so-called" moderators should pay more attention to you morons, and maybe nobody will get killed. And before you "diss" me, I was a cop for over ten years, and I've seen it all. I got to explain the deaths to the loved ones you ******** killed.

 

The only street race I participate in (extremely rare) is on SR 128. Farmland, really no side streets, damn near totally straight. A race is over at 60 to me. No sense in going faster, we already know who won.
