Default Audi TT down

i very rarely post anything in here, because well, i barely ever get any interesting races worth talking about. i took the stang to work tonight, and on my way back i got passed slowly by an Audi TT, so i figured, why the hell not, and gave him a little fly-by, just to show him i wanted to play. i left off the gas about 10 cars in front of him and waited, then he flew by me too... allright! he wants to play woohoo! so he slowed down to about 80 and waited, so i came up next to him and gave him a thumbs up. i don't know if he returned the gesture or what, his windows were dark as hell. but anyway, we were on a very long straight stretch of highway all alone, so i tried to get him to slow down a bit so we could go from a slower roll, but no go, he wouldn't budge from 80. so anyway, i signaled him to go, and he did. by the time i jammed it in 4th his rear bumper was at the front of my car.... then i slowly passed him and by the end of 4th he was about a car lenght behind, i put it in 5th (wich sucks major *****, as if 4th wasn't weak enough) and he just stayed at exactly the same spot ti'll 140ish... then he was heading towards the exit ramp, so i slowed down, rolled down my window and gave him a wave. and that was that... i have no idea, wich particular model it was, i know there's 3 of them 180hp - 225hp - 250hp, all i know is it was a hardtop, and it gave me better run than the S2000 i raced a couple months back... good times.

Nice kill HC, and you are right, you hardly ever have any interesting races, just like me. , LOL. Do those things weigh alot, I'm not to sure? I was gonna say if they do it was probably the 180hp or 225hp one, I'm pretty sure the 250hp one runs 13's stock.

i haven't really looked around for 1/4 mile times, i just looked up the specs when i got home... it says 3233lbs, but i don't know if that's the vert or hardtop. it's probably around 100 to 200 lbs heavier than my notch.

I looked it up as well, but couldnt find any times for it. I seen there is a TT Quattro, a TT, and a v6 TT I believe. I find times for the RS6, it was like 12.6 in the 1/4, LOL, fast as hell.

I just picked up an Audi TT225 quattro 6 speed.
Got such a good deal on it i couldn't turn it down.

The biggest give away on the Audi TT's is the rear exhuast if it's duals it's ether the 225 turbo or the 250 V6
the 180HP is a single exhuast.

the funny thing about the 225 turbo and the 250 is the 225 has a faster 1/4 mile then the 250.
But the 250HP car has a higher top speed.

It's not as fast as a mustang but i've got to admit it's a blast to drive. and really wakes up well to a tuning chip.

Here are the chips for the TT. I had to sell my mustang so now that i have no V8 to play with i've gotta tuner this thing.

Year Model
Engine
91 Octane Chipped 93 Octane Chipp DirectPort
Available Price
2000-05 TT 225HP 1.8T 257hp/264lb-ft 263hp/267lb-ft $499.00

the TT's 1/4 times are terrible.
It's not really a straight line car.
But man or man can that thing take high speed turns.

guessing it's gearing and weight kill it's 1/4 mile time.
