Default Steps......

I know that many cars are very different from a launch. But when at the track each driver has a method of starting off. This includes clutch action(for the most part) reving into higher rpms before you "dump" the clutch and so on. How do you start of the line, Do you have your own style or procedure?....technicly how?

T56 - LS1 .... I slip the clutch from around 1100rpm and try to slowly ride it off the line...only half the time it bogs, half the time it blows the tires off usually 2.1 ~ 2.3 60fts...

Evan Smith slips from 2200rpm (the man is god) and manages incredible times from them so I know its just my method. Right method for me just not enough skill i guess.

Depends on your traction/power. Try different ways till you find the one that fits you best.

I bring the 2-step up to 5500 rpms and dump the clutch.
