My third only lasts until about 70ish.

Ehhh. 65 is about 2300 rpm's. (maybe a bit more since my speedo is off) Not too bad.

EDIT : That's in fifth gear too, with a stock T-5.

Jaggezz,

Nice ride![sm=icon_rock.gif]

"It had some sort of whine to it, but it didn't really sound like a supercharger or turbo"

Are you sure it wasn't alternator belt slipping?

ORIGINAL: Jaggezz

So Saturday night I was on the way to a friends house for a party. I was only 2 or 3 stop lights away from his house, and I pull up next to an older Volkswagen at a light. I think it was like an older Corrado or Jetta or something gay. It was a little ricered out, but not too much. I threw him a short rev to see if he wanted to play, and sure enough he returned it. It had some sort of whine to it, but it didn't really sound like a supercharger or turbo. It sounded too crappy to be one of those. So the light turns green, and I launch around 2500, and instantly jump a length out infront of him. I chirped second, and powershifted into third, and I had 4 lengths on him by 65 when I shut down. He immediately jumped into the left turn lane at the next light, and hauled *** back the opposite direction.

hahha. I think that makes 4 VW's that I've destroyed.

EDIT : Typo

I guess I have to be the one to do this.

BS FLAG!!!

There is no way that your mustang could possibly beat a one hundred and thirty seven hosepower VW. Simply not going to happen.
