It's not an ugly car by any means... With the S197's.. I like the front end, and hate the rears... I think they tried to give it the "jacked up" look... like the old muscle cars... but they just put on a short bumper... so it's all the same height and the rear end just looks higher.. but, it's the only part that looks higher, lol.. iuno.. just my thoughts

 

Looks good IMO. They aren't THAT jacked up in the front.

Looks REAL good as they pass vettes and LS1s.

 

yea, i freakin LOVE the way they look!! the new hood and grille just make it ten times meaner than a GT. and i love my GT.

i would buy one, no doubt.

 

I think that the only part of its appearance that I'm not a big fan of, is the headlight-grille look

Somehow, together, especially the piece that divides them at an angle like that, takes away from any aggressive look..

makes the 'face of the car' look sad.. i'd like to see what it woudl look like with the center mounted fogs like on the 67GT 350,500

 

i think i will sink a little money into my stang and get the times they get in the GT500 . . .

12.29 . . . what do i need. . . cams, port&polish, headers . . . yeah, that seems a little cheaper, plus i think mine looks better

 

Here's a pretty sweet launch pic, guy in my club with an '02 Z28. Just bolt-ons and a cam swap, N/A with stock heads.

Ran a 10.9 I believe on that pass.

Nope, doesn't make a difference. Didn't buy the car to turn heads, bought it cause "I" liked it. The power/handling/styling was exceptional for the cost. Heads, cam, and intake...and the LS1 is DEEP into the 12's and 400rwhp. So nope, not worried about it.

It's always amusing when someone says they don't like a particular car, and everyone rushes in screaming..."Well...it's faster and looks better than YOUR car!" Ok...what's your point? I still don't like it. [:'(]
