on my way to work jst now i raced an SS from a light and damn it was embarassing lol i have an 01 GT with sct programmer intake and exhaust. in december i am gettin a vortech v-1 supercharger how close will this bring me to being able to beat camaro ss or z28s cuz i would really like to at least compete

 

with an SC ull blow them away like nobody's business... unless they are modded. an ls1 wiht head and cam work is like 400 rwhp. u can hit that with an SC and a good tune.

 

I'd think the blower woulf put you right where you want to be. Forced induction is the sh*t!

 

if you supercharge your car will be insane but it will also be alot of $$$

 

go for it, you will have an edge, but if they have HCI your toast

 

Yea, HCI on an LSI isnt somthin you wanna race unless youv got pretty much everything and are running a lot of boost. But you will destroy stock and lightly modded ones with a blower.

 

With a blower you would have nothing to fear from me.
At least not until I get the bottle hooked up.

 

Yea, crappy H/C. On good set-ups with proper tunes, try in excess of 420rwhp with 460rwhp attainable.

 

i have a buddy with just a cam, intake and exhaust on stock heads that dyno'd at 408hp 2 days ago..... his hp dropped off at 6k due to the heads and redlines at 6700..... with heads, its gonna just make his numbers shoot up more

 

wow.. .and the cam job is cheap too on the ls motors too right?
