stock for stock your vette should pull the V6 by about 4 cars possible more. they just have too much torque. i didn't know they made a 1980 vette with a 454. the last 454's were 1974 i believe.my friend had a 79 vette and it ran pretty good. def faster than a stock 6
here is a better question.
who would win a 1980 vette or a 1983 vette with crossfire injection. be carefull this is a very tricky question

well he is lieing cause you cannot run a supercharger and an aftermarket CAI together witrhout alot of modding the CAI. most supercharger kits take their air from the innerfender anyways.

I don't think a stock early 80's vette would win by very much against a stock edge V6.Pretty much everything made in the late 70s and early 80s were dogs by todays standards.If the stang actually has a S/C[which is highly unlikely],you might want a head start.
