today on my way home i drive the same route every day, i always see a viper or ferrari 360 modena and of course i pull next to them and punch it a little. of course they do nothing and it pisses me off. i know i really dont stand a chance but its for the fun, and why have that car if your not gunna use it, but anyway i strade a little, i see this Porche GT2 and my heart starts pounding. he pulls behind me at the light and of course i punch it and to my suprise and no time at all he is next to me. so we weave through traffic(on closed course) and then he turns, but it nice that someone that drops that much money on a sports car will finally play with me, and for all they know mine could be a sleeper. its not really a race but hey just thought i would share.

 

like you said, its just for fun. and i agree...wuts the point of spending $150k + on a car if youre not gonna drive it the way it was bred to be drove. i mean, Lambo, Porsche's, Ferrari's...all those are made to drive fast and handle SUPERB compared to the other cars of the world. imo, German's and Italians have made some of the BEST cars in the world !!!

 

most people buy those cars for status. kind of like the H2 HUMMER. it is so they can say look i have a HUMMER. well i get a hummer every night and i don't show it off

the H2 is NOT a Hummer. the square, boxy, 4-dr vehicles were Hummers. the H2 is an updated wooden block with some refinements and some glass. other than that, JUNK. imo.

 

And you cant even get a diesel in it unless special ordered, but im still not sure if you can get it that way. And not to mention the fact that its no longer Independent suspension anymore, that makes it suckass all the way around if you ask me.

i know H2s are junk. they ride like ****, they can't tow ****, they get ****ty gas mileage, they look like ****, and they cannot go off-road. and the hummer i'm talking about is the one you get when your girlfreind is on her knees.

 

Dude, what city do you live in where you see those kinds of cars every day? There are a few Vipers in Jacksonville, and a metric sh*t ton of Porsches (mostly Boxsters though).
