how do you guys think i would do against a stock sti? you can see my mods below...no one believes me about the horsepower but just go by the mods....from a role do you think i could hang with one? i know it would kill me from a stop but my friend has a srt-4 and he said he started to pull on one from a role and i raced the srt and i beat him from a role.

 

i would just race him ... STI's are beast remember that

from a dig id say no, roll id say you have him

remeber they run low-mid 13's stock

 

i'd say he has a better shot at an srt4 from a dig than an sti, and a better shot at the sti from a roll.

it's a lot easier to screw up a RWD launch than it is AWD

 

Racing from a roll (not "role") is quite homosexual. Just don't.

 

if u dont get a perfect or close to perfect launch the sti is gonna win

You "could" beat him from a role although that is a bit lame. From a dig it might get nasty[&:]

 

A new one will run 13 flat to 13.3 bone stock. You're definitely gonna need sticky tires and ditching those heavy custom wheels wouldn't be a bad idea.
270 rwhp isn't too shabby, it's only 30 less than a stock LS1 F-body, which can run 13 flat with 3.42 gears. Sticky tires could make this a damn good race.
