I believe the NHRA requires one at 11.49 or quicker.

MM&FF just said it in their article about the 03/04 cobras and titled Termination that it is 11.49 or quicker requires a roll rage on NHRA rules

For your car both NHRA and IHRA will require a 5 point roll bar at 11.49 (nobody ever bothers with a 5 point, they just do a 6 point).
Unsanctioned tracks may be more or less strict.

Both NHRA and IHRA do require a 5 point roll bar if you do 11.49 or lower but there are some tracks that require one if you run any faster then 11.99

With cars like the C6 Z06 and Ford GT capable of hitting those times stock I think they need to modify the rules a bit.

take easy on your runs and try to run 11.5+ and on your last run, cool engine pretty good, then heat the tires, drive it like stolen.. and see what she will run at the best. then you can tell them, no need, i am leaving anyway
