96' cobra 4.10's, full exhaust, tuner, cai and some other stuff.
1st race, dead stop i got a good launch brought him to my bumper held till about 55-60 pulled even and passed me i stayed on his bumper till about 80 he shut down.
2nd race, about 10-15 i got the jump again till about 60 this time, great 3rd gear power shift and i was at his rear quarter panel at about 80 this time..

only ran twice, but I think did pretty well considering those thing's come with 305hp out of the box...

 

305 BHP is about 270 RWHP - a weakling. I guess that is a high 14 car?

 

Try high 13s stock; you are way off.

 

My car is about 235 rw stock... and with a bad driver and horrible track i ran 14.5 on street tires.

 

You can get into the low 12's with that much, but i doubt he has that kind of suspension and weight

wasn't there a problem with the 96 cobras, or was it the 99's....they were putting down less then rated?

 

that was the 99 cobras somthing to do with the intake i beleive i could be way off but it wasn't working as they expected so yea... and the IRS i understand wasn't that great on them either
