well looks like you guys were right i just thought the blower in mine and the 100 shot in his would even eachother out but i guess without my blower i would be slower than him i was nasty i went to the track and i ran a 12.96 and the ss ran 12.31 he killed me just like he said he would.

 

What was your 60' times and your MPH? Your running about the same #'s as me but my 60's were 2.24 and MPH was 107. Just curious!

 

my 60 ft was 2.13 and my mph was 108.8

not that i think i could do any better but i'd think your car has a lot more in it than 12.96 @ 109. your 60' is maybe a bit below avg on street tires - might try dropping the rpm's by 500 and/or slipping the clutch a bit more on launch. once your moving you might experiment w/ short-shifting 1-2 to avoid wheel spin. you need to shift as quickly as possible though so you'll be putting power down all the way down the track. consider if you take even only 1/2 a second to shift and you only shift twice (trapping in 3rd) that's a full second of coasting.

 

2.1 on factory tires is about average, though 2.0 should be possible.
I would think you could trap higher than 108, especially considering what time of year it is.
