Default Kill a slightly modded IROC

Me and my buddy have been friends for 11 years now. He's always been a camaro guy, ive always been a mustang guy. Ever since we both got our dream cars (He's got an 89 Iroc Z 350 tune port, full exhaust mods, comp chip, some throttle body and head work) we've argued about who would win. Well we were planning on racing, but then my stang developed a rodknock, weeks later a spun bearing, now my limited slip is going bad. Well we go out cruising all the time with another buddy in his 87 vette. He got use wound up, and we eventually raced at a light. I had him by atleast 2 carlengths by 80. It was and will be my only full-on race with my mustang. I was very proud of my baby, ive driven his camaro and it honestly seemed faster than mine. But, even with a rodknock, spun bearing and one-wheeled-wonder, i still had him. Oh, and just for the haters, we raced thrice more to make sure. I had him almost the same distance by 80 every time. It was a pretty fun night all in all. I did lose to the vette tho... Only by a fender by 100mph.

Nice kill...and nice color (I have the same color). How many miles are on your car?

Lol thanks. I love the yellow. Second best mustang color imo, next to the metallic blue. I have amost 97500 on mine as she sits. The previous owner tore her to hell and took the absolute worst care of her. Those 97k miles shouldn't be that bad, i know.

The 87 vette should have been slower than a worked 350 TPI IROC. Who did his headwork? 87 vettes had something like 250hp IIRC.

Pretty good for a 10 year newer car. Try a 99 Camaro ... There I am being cynical again, sorry about that. Nice kill, and I like your car, its looks pretty sweet.

To the OP did the 99s come with the Zinc Yellow like my car? Just asking because for some years the yellow looks different.
