Well.. I took the vert out for a topless cruise today and had some fun.

I actualy had to race a v6 mustang.. I could not believe this dumbass. I had a guy walk up to me while I was filling up at a gas station. He apparently has a modded newedge 6er.. Anyways, walked up and said "I dont know why you bothered to spend the extra money on a GT.. its not worth it, the V6 is almost as fast from the factory".. He told me he could take me (not even ASKING what my mods were)... so I said sure.. just said we would make it a quick "first to 60 deal"... He pulled out, I started up and pulled out behind him.... and you guys know how that one went... He just kept on driving and turned into a neighborhood when I started slowing back down.

I went up the highway a way and ran into a rumblebee truck.. Sounded really good and seemed kinda quick when he played with me.. So I go to take off.. and BWOOOOOOOSH... car died.. Lol, made a post about it in the 4.6 section.. talk about a heart stopper.. luckily the piping just poped out from my TB.. nothing big.. reattached it on the side of the road and checked everything out.. stated her up and she ran fine.. no codes even... drove it around nice and calm for a while to test her out.

Then the fun one.. Not really a race.. but I wanted it to be. A C5 Z06.. I dont think it was a 2002+.. I think it was an 01.. meaning it was beefy, but not insanely beefy. Was a younger guy driving it with a chick in the passenger seat.. bright yellow car. I got him to play a little.. he took off once and I almost immediatly pulled half of my car in front of his.. did that a couple times.... I REALLY think I would have taken him untill we got up top... Probably till I ran outta 4th.. He followed me for a second, then when I turned in a gas station hoping he would follow he just kept on driving I think as long as my clutch would have grabbed I woulda had him..

Forgot to add one more. I also ran into a buddy on my way back.. He didnt know i had even bought this car... He actualy just stoped by to go "WTF IS IN THAT THING???". He has a 2005 Linc LS V8.. One little run on the highway where I slaughtered him from about a 70mph roll to 90... Even let him get the jump. He's pissed.. he just sold his 347 stroker fox vert.. woulda been a fun race

 

what is it with people buying lincolns? the poor mans luxury car...i dont get it.
is your blower loud, or should i say, once you start your car, is it obvious that its blown?

 

Yes.... its very obvious. You can hear my blower in my friends house when I pull up... you can hear the whine coming and the exhaust after I pass.. kinda funny.
